Which social network bettered our lives? (A.k.a: vote for Steemit as Social Network of the Year!)

I'd not be a good Steemian if I didn't at least write a short post about this chance to show off Steemit (and thus Steem) to the rest of the world. 'The Noonies' are held for the first time this year, and they sound like an alternative for the Webby's, which celebrate Excellence of the Internet.

Welcome to Hackernoon's First Annual Noonies - where everything's democratic and your votes are the only things that matter. Voting closes on 16 August and winners will be announced on 20 August.

Steemit has a chance to win a Noonie as 'Social Network of the Year'. Now, as I actually do believe Steemit won't win for useability, but should win for community effort and strength, I'd urge you all to vote. It's simple, not even a name or e-mail address is required.
