Yesterday I arrived in lovely Lisbon, capital of Portugal, for a week of leisure. Although I love staying in apartments via for example AirBnB, this week I'm staying in a design boutique hotel. I'm accompanying my boyfriend who is here to work for a client this week, and his boss pays for the hotel :-)
Yes, that's a luxury for me to be able to join indeed!
Design of the hotel
The hotel has a few lovely features in its architecture, of which one is the many see-throughs created with windows, sometimes even as small as 20 centimeters in width!
By looking through them you're immediately reminded you are in Lisbon - although the orange roof tiles are pretty specific for Dutch houses, put them together with white, pink or yellow facades and I instantly recognize Lisbon.
I'll write more detailed stories about the adventures I will probably have in Lisbon later this week. For now: Boa Noite!
