Let's be short: I'm going to SteemFest for pleasure. I'm not very business minded and see life and 'earning money' as a huge experiment and base most of what I do on personal relationships - if we can have fun that turns into business well - that's fine by me. But it's a side dish, so to say.
I of course am prepared to find a business partner on SteemFest, maybe a sudden idea that pops up - If I suddenly start moving a lot (talk with my hands for example) and I get a huge smile on my face I'm interested in adding to the idea because somehow it clicked in my brain.
But, what sparks my imagination is very random, and I've always been annoyingly unaware of status that some people have received by having money or some sort of 'position', so I'm just focusing on the pleasure part of SteemFest and let all that happens, well, happen.
With that said, I will have fun:
...meeting people
The absolute number one. I care deeply about people I connect with and you can be sure if I commented on your posts more than once then you're in my mind more than you can imagine and I will love meeting you.
...eating with people
Hehehe. Let's have a bite and discover some new Polish foods! I'm actually in the process of writing some posts on things I want to try in Krakow while I'm there. Wait for it! I'm hungry!
...gathering life stories
You know, I'm a sucker for personal stories, and it's actually on of my 'roots' in life. I'd wither and die if there were no life stories I could soak up and feed my brain cells with.
If you've been reading my blog for a while you know I'm not scared of sharing some of the rawer aspects of life, sadness, challenges. Our stories are the only stories no-one else can (really) tell and in my mind that means only personal stories are worth sharing. I'd love to hear yours.
...exploring the city with my camera
I love exploring and yes take a lot of photographs. I'll probably book a few days before and/or after the SteemFest so I can have some proper alone time and shoot the pictures I want without feeling hurried. Yes, I love meeting people but only if I can recharge from time to time. So even though all of the above involved a people aspect, I add this all for myself - lol. I'll process all that I feel and have experiences in those hours and come back with heart space to 'get some more'.
...everything I can't even think of
I just know I can't even imagine what we'll experience and the ways we will bond and have fun or make each other cry. It's what I've learned in life so far: the more you plan the less will come of it. I try to let go and just see what happens and enjoy that.
And enjoying is what I believe we will do, together, and whoa, I can't wait!
