Well, our beloved @anomadsoul decided to save the worst for last - crazy face selfies on the blockchain and summer fling confessions on the blockchain - really? :') But well, I can't stay behind since the #roadtosteemfest gang almost feels like a sub-community of the overall #steemfest-goers. I love all of you! So here we go!

Most embarrassing moment in life
"Hey, Rosa! How are you!" ... Yes, eh, fine! How are you? :-)
"I'm fine! Gosh, it's early for you to eh? Funny to see you here" ... Yes, eh, it's early indeed yes!
"So, how did your test go last Friday? Did you make it through?" ... Ehm, yes, ehm... It went well. Thanks for asking.
A train approached. 'Our' train. We both were going to step in that train in a moment, and this guy, this person, this... person who was talking to me like we talked every day would probably be stepping in with me and expect us to talk the rest of the train ride.
But.
I had no idea who he was.
We stepped into the train. Found two seats, opposite of each other. Perfect 'conversation position'.
"Are you still doing that art project?" I scanned through my brain. Was that where we knew each other from? No. We didn't know each other from the art project I worked on.
"How are your studies going overall?" Ah, a more generic question. I used it to my advantage. ... Pretty well, thanks, how are your eh... studies (I had to keep it as non-specific as possible, but seeing his age, time of travel, and even his bag, I felt this might be a safe guess) going?
"Yes, yes, medicine, you know, so it's a crazy ride, but next year I'll be doing my internship, looking forward to that very much!" ... Ah, he studies medicine. Let's keep him talking. Ask questions. Figure out who he is while he's talking.
And so I did. It must have taken about 15 minutes which were the longes 15 minutes of my life. Only to hear him at some point mention 'at the bank' and a think clicked in my brain.
I knew who he was!
We were colleagues, but both working only 1,5 day, at the bank where my father works, and I did some part-time student job, just like 'the guy'. We had only really seen each other two times for maybe 30 minutes while switching shifts. But, and here's the clue, we did e-mail a lot throughout the week! Often job related, like handing over tasks to do, but always ending with a personal note or a follow-up question. Hence him knowing everything about me while I couldn't 'place him' since the place we met was so far out of context... Had I seen him 'at the bank' I would have known who he was, but here? No.
Maybe 'seen from the outside' this isn't that bad at all. I can totally write up some encounters or fails in life that feel more cringe-worthy to you and go for that. But, I'm a very empathic person and this moment actually felt like hell to me. My face was warm, my stomach felt awkward... And I almost sweated throughout the whole encounter. I hope to never ever experience this ever again.
If you were stranded in a deserted island with 3 SteemFest attendees, who would they be and why?
Uh... Can I pick these after SteemFest3? :D I need to check y'all out first!
But well, let's make this a bit easier on myself.
I would want some who could cook really well, since I love food, we need to survive by eating some food, and I would love to have a cooking buddy,. Since @princessmewmew is sadly not going to be at SteemFest this year but I recently learned that @guchtere has 10 types of salt in his kitchen because he picks his salt very very carefully for his meats and fishes, he's my first pick for the deserted island. Let's feed our fellow Steemians!
Next I would want someone I could talk to and be comfortable with and who is wise, someone I see surviving the island situation just because they can adapt and also give advise to others, make people feel 'okay', which in my mind is @katrina-ariel, an awesome friend to me on this digital platform, and someone I would find peace in if she were there. The good thing is, she wants me on 'her' island too, so! Match made in heaven.
Lastly I would want to have a story teller on the island, a person who is basically my substitute for books and Netflix without having electricity available, and this is @anomadsoul, a deep well of stories and adventures, and someone I can relate to from a nomadic perspective, since I call myself 'the Wanderer'. He would also be my physical support, someone who can hike from Brussels to Lisbon is certainly able to compensate for my lack of physical strength. Maybe he could hunt some game for @guchtere to cook in salt we subtracted from the sea around our island?
Make a crazy/funny face
Well, here ya go. I'm feeling pretty shit today so pointing the camera on my face today and also try to be funny is not working. But I had this picture on my phone and it's as crazy as I'm willing to put my face on the blockchain. Meme away!
If you had one superpower (any superpower), what would it be, why, and how would you use it during Steem Fest?
In daily live my superpower is being 'The Observer'. I see, hear, notice everything within range and can often provide people with extra insights especially on human behaviour and their motivations, quirks, insecurities... Overcompensating? I will know. Not feeling 'like you belong'? I will see and have light-hearted chat with you that calms you down.
The only restriction I have: I can't be at all places at once! So I would love to be omni-present, hehe, please, so I can observe, hear, notice everything about everyone and get home with full 'dossiers' on every Steemian present at SteemFest!
Knowledge is power, people...
If you had to pick one Steemian for a summer fling story, who would it be?
Well, well, well... And I can only pick one Steemian? :D
My main attraction in people is if they are talented and kind. People who have no 'mask' on their face, don't feel like they need to 'create an image', that just are true and honest and comfortable enough with themselves to just be. A bit of mystery is okay though, the kind of person that has a natural absence around him, that maybe is in his mind a lot, thinks a lot, doesn't tell all, the kind that lets you wonder: what are you cooking up up there that I'm allowed to be a part of? Someone that intrigues, not by trying to intrigue, but just by being... So freaking okay with who they are and so happy with what they're doing!
Now, all these things together bring me to @mrblinddraw, who is also known as @playitforward, in my eyes a multi-talent, plays music, draws, organises the 'WHISPER' gallery (my favourite art project on this blockchain), says he's not a photographer while creating absolutely awesome images, created this awesome portrait of me, and so on, and so forth.
He doesn't know I am picking him, and maybe he reads it, and maybe not... He is one of those people who is involved but so busy doing 'his thing' that he might not even see me mentioning him in this post. Sexy, right?
This was the last part of the Road to SteemFest series! Thank you so so much @anomadsoul, your initiative truly helped me (re)connect with so many Steemians and I am feeling so much more comfortable now going... It's been a true help and shows how you heart this community.
To everyone else: don't be sad I didn't pick you as my summer fling! I'm planning to live a long life and have a lot of room in my heart :D Cheers! See you in a few days time and if not, start saving up for SteemFest4 today!
