Well... That was amazing! Again!
The weekend after SteemFest we had a first Steem Meet-Up in the Netherlands - and today it was time for the second one.
Meeting Steemians is probably my favourite pass-time. Why is it so easy to talk to you guys? All of you rock <3
Seriously, I am the last person to organise anything (I'd rather join than arrange since organizing stuff stresses me out :D) but for Steem Meet-Ups I'm willing to set a time and place because it's so so cool to meet and chat.
I'm really really grateful you all came:
- Hardcore Meet-Up Attendees (100% show-up score!) @exyle, @s3rg3, @brittandjosie, @pundito and @hans001 decided to join again so apparently they liked it :D
- There were @tonyz and @dboontje who I hadn't interacted much with before, but that might happen more easily now since I love interacting with people more after I've seen their faces :-)
- Special Guests @arcange and @detlev decided to join from across the border, two very well-liked people in the Steem Community, and I'm honestly glad I got to speak both of you a bit longer than was possible at SteemFest. With @detlev I even got to try out a new Gin and Tonic place - yes, apparently he drinks something else then beer!
- I was really really really happy to receive @route-m-d (a super nice couple from Poland!) who are traveling and only arrived for living/working in The Netherlands 1 week ago! They hitchhiked to Rotterdam and got to try bitterballen!
- Also @buzzbeergeek (a beer lover, duh, from Croatia) only recently arrived to live/work in my city - I hope to see him soon again for a coffee so I can tell him all the good things of the city and we practice his Dutch!
- And last but not least there was @guchtere, one of my favourite people on Steem that I'm regularly in touch with after becoming friends at SteemFest, it was so good to see his smiling face again!
TL;DR: Steemians met. They drank beer. Some ate burgers. We went home. The end.
