It's just a 4-minute walk to 5 different tram lines and 2 subway lines into and out of the city of Rotterdam. My neighborhood could be perceived as somewhat on the borders of the city Rotterdam, but that also makes it a convenient hub for public transport.
Conversations in public transport
I love driving the tram. I always hear these tiny conversations between people that in my head turn into full-blown stories about their lives. I used to write those stories down, I don't anymore. I must say Steemit motivates me to start doing it again, although I would be a bit nervous if I would be able to write those conversations or anecdotes down with the same humor as I do while writing in my mother tongue Dutch.
I'll practice in a notebook before I post them on Steemit for you all to read ;-)
Reflections in windows
As you can see my photography is often strongly themed. Again, this is a picture taken through a window while looking for both an interesting subject outside as well as the reflections of the lights in the tram that I am able to capture by pointing the camera upwards. While editing the picture I was excited to see the yellow and blueish
Slice of HOME is an ongoing series of pictures I take while actually being home or in and around places I also perceive to be my direct surroundings. For example in and around the city of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, while shopping, using public transport, or just taking a short walk. I'd love to see other people post pictures of HOME too. Notify me when you do so I can take a look.
All pictures on steemit.com/@soyrosa are created and edited by me, Rosanne Dubbeld, 2005-2018. Contact me if you want to discuss licensing or collaborations on creative projects :-)
