I encountered these while I was bicycling through the polder landscapes around Nijmegen. We just had a nice lunch with pancakes stuffed with bacon, cheese, mushrooms, and another with Ducht Stroop, so I was ready to speed the bicycling part up just when I turned around a corner and 'met' these guys.
I'm not sure what they're called and should probably Google this, but I just enjoyed them, looking a bit like a crossover between Totem Poles and the Easter Island Statues.
I took a Selfie with one of these guys but I'm not sure you all deserve to see that one :D Gotta keep this Hive blog professional looking, don't you think?
