Driving through train stations provides a different dynamic for my 'through a dirty train window' shots. This is on Antwerp Central, a very modern train station with multiple levels of platforms from which trains leave. Quite impressive to both walk and drive through.
The little stick figure running symbols probably refer to the most logical walking route - but I wasn't standing still long enough to check out if that was true. The blueish tones of the cement of the station plus the yellow lights (also visible in these shots) provided a nice photo opportunity.
Another running man, is everyone always in a hurry maybe?
While thinking back of the few times I had to switch trains on Antwerp Central I might indeed have been hurrying/running as best as I could. As I said: multiple level train station that you don't often use makes you feel lost soon enough. And you don't want to miss your train... Running and searching for the right platform might indeed be the only real theme for Antwerp Central.
I'll check for more the next time I'm here.
Linking all previous photographs in these series takes up too much space below my posts. But I've linked all the photographs up until #20 in the post where I also give a little peak into the making of a photo book on the series: 'The making of a photo book #1'.
