The way I have been creating content on Steemit the past few weeks:

• Go through my photo archives
• Select one or a few photos that together make up a story
• Edit the photos in Lightroom
• Upload and write the story

This has been done on an almost daily basis and has helped me to go through the many pictures I took while in Scotland for a whole month. Creating content for Steemit has helped me to edit pictures consistently and with a 'goal' in mind: to entertain my Steemit followers :-)

My photo archives are split into daily folders - it often happens I edited the selected pictures in one of those folders, posted a story or picture, and go on to the next folder. But sometimes I already want to start editing pictures of the next day when my eye suddenly notices a picture I ignored before.

Today is one of those days.

Pretty imperfect

This picture was very much underexposed in order to not overblow the highlights in the sky. So much so the thumbnail didn't show me anything interesting to work with. But then I remembered this day was full of rain and sun and rain and sun alternations - which often makes for pretty interesting skies and thus pictures.

The picture has been taken through the glass window of our car. It's pretty imperfect. I very much love it now I've seen it come alive.
