There's a Magnificent Tree in the city centre of The Hague, and I overlook it easily since I'm always 'on my way to somewhere or someone', hurrying past it. This time around I did not - maybe because it was the Chinese New Year and the square was full of decorations from Lunar New Year.
Anyway, the tree looked huge, and strong, and waiting for spring to arrive. But bare trees sometimes even more special, since the shapes and contrasts with the sky are super interesting.
As I did with a few previous photos, I tried to mirror and collapse the tree to bring out new shapes. Take a look for yourself: you're either seeing my look 'upwards' towards the branches, or you're seeing more of the trunk of the tree, and some of the city buildings in the background.
V and curved shapes
It's almost like two people are touching their hands like you would do on a folk dance.
Decorations for your wallpaper, anyone?
Even more dancing people, or do I just want to see that?
