[PHOTO] Dutch roads #2

Many people yesterday commented they love (the freedom of) driving. For me it will be a way to get to places easier than I can now, places I want to visit just in order to take photographs. So that is definitely something that has been on my mind and excites me: which places will I go to once I (finally) have my license? Maybe a solo roadtrip through Europe to gain some confidence in driving?

Knowing me I would be more nervous if someone was sitting next to me, so in my head this sounds like a great idea. I'd start by cruising through one or two countries with 'easy roads', maybe challenge myself a bit more after a few days by getting off the highroads, and if my learning curve feels good enough even some smaller mountain roads.

I sat next to my boyfriend for a month while driving tiny tiny roads, so I must have learned just from looking at him, right?

What was your first solo driving experience? Do you remember? Was it a memorable one or did you maybe just use your car to do some groceries?
