Right before walking into the town Veere, just behind the parking spot, you'll be able to find one of the old mills The Netherlands is so famous for. In a typical Dutch landscape, green grass, green trees, some of the white flowers covering the landscape in the month of May.
The funny thing is, a mill like this is totally expected in a landscape outside of the city. But did you know I live in a city with more than half a million inhabitants where you can find some windmills too? Right in the middle of a street? Sitting between houses, cars, and everything?
I have never really thought about doing a photo series on the mills in Rotterdam, but the more I write on Steemit and the more people I meet in the different communities, the more I realize how my normal is someone else's special. I truly gets me off my couch and see the possibility of content everywhere.
It's something to be grateful for and I'll make a schedule for my new found photo subject ASAP.
Until then: check out my Photo Essay on Veere with tons of pictures taken in this lovely town, or leave a comment on this post in order to have a chance at winning a share in the @steembasicincome!
