I'm taking driver's lessons as we speak. I never thought I would want to drive a car, but I do now, and am dreaming of the day I can step behind the wheel and just drive.
I'll take at least one week of road tripping all by myself. Just so I can make all the rookie mistakes with me and don't feel watched. Grow some trust. Breathe some fresh air.
I thought about driving through Germany. But just now, browsing through my photo archives, I found some forgotten sunset pictures I shot along the French coast. Ah, so pretty. I remember the fresh air as well.
[A late afternoon in France, the North-East coast.]
I'm now considering driving towards some of the pointy pieces of land that seem to say 'go to the UK!', but no, I'll drive those pointy things and see what they are about. If I find one more of those sunsets I've made the right decision.
If you were living in Europe, where would you drive to if you had a week of time?
