Whoa, time went by fast! I went on a holiday the end of May, which is why I couldn't curate for a few weeks. After returning from that holiday it took me a while to get back to it. Generally speaking our curators have a hard time finding valuable posts, and so that also meant I didn't curate every day even if I had the time to look for it.

But, still, there's always a bunch of posts that are severely overlooked - which is why curating for @ocd is a fun and important job. Once curated by OCD most posts also get a hefty @blocktrades upvote since they are still following our trail for now - that is not a guarantee, but a nice bonus if it happens.

Our whitelist (thegoodwhales.io) is growing steadily, and @ocd now gives out sliders to deserving Plankton as well to get them to reach the magical 500SP mark which gets you a slider. (Yes, that's why this initiative is called Operation Slider Delegation, or OSD :-))

Anyway, 'nough said, get to reading some of these posts below and maybe even follow a potential new favourite author. I hope to find a lot of new treasures next week!

Cheers.

Some pictures make you want to step in a plane ASAP to witness the wonder itself. This gorgeous church on 2710 on a mountain in Georgia certainly makes me feel exactly like that. The green mountain top in front of the snowy ones certainly creates the perfect contrast for a photo expedition like this. Make sure to check out this post by @zirochka yourself, maybe the visuals become a trigger for a great fictional story...

From this post by @amberyooper we learn how much planning is required to plant seeds in order to grow your own food. From actually buying the seeds to deciding that the Corn must be planted first so the Beans won't outgrow them... It might look like a simple plot of land, but it definitely comes with a lot of research and knowledge, I'm sure of it!

An acrylic still live from start to finish - especially the last picture where you can see the full painting plus the still life in one shot is awesome to me - so much detail was brought to the canvas! @longer currently even has some of his paintings up for viewing in Kraków, Poland, for those that want to see his work with their own eyes.

A couple on Steem, @mrjl and @angelofmercy, playing a selection of songs at a gorgeous lake in Slovenia - Smartinsko Jezero - he plays the on guitar, she is singing a lot of sings many of us know as they are or have been hits at some point in time. Listen and enjoy!

Small and Tall are two people - a couple - maintaining their @smalltall account. Often writing about photography and traveling it's a joy to read their current post where Small thinks back on her time in Thailand, Chiang Mai. Some shots of the Kayan Village are her favourite, but in colour, and for the BD Community Photo Challenge she decided to convert them to black & white - it worked out well!

Writing about all the adventures on her fam, @goldenoakfarm makes it sound like a huge adventure today! She is talking about Mr. Woodchuck, a chuck she tries to chase of her land, luring it away and locking it outside her farm - after which Mr. Woodchuck looks at her angry from under a car. Will we ever read another post on this blog about how he came back to take revenge?

"If there is no rattan, the roots of wood can be utilized" @kevirizal explains how he using the proverb to overcome difficult limitations in life. Currently he is trying with the help of a mechanic to modify a car that's incredibly old - but lack of money means he can't buy original parts. Still, he believes with patience and thoroughness he can repair the car and get it to work again. Even if it doesn't work out he used the car to create some cool shots of himself and the rusty vehicle. Inspiring!

@guchtere has been ill for a while now, which keeps him very close to home, mainly doing smaller walks close to home. "During those walks sometimes my world starts spinning or just shuts down and get a reboot. These weird moments I'm trying to show here." This time he uses that fact to his advantage, by experimenting with these so well-known sights, using liquids, old UV-filters - he came up with a whole new feel for his photography!
