OCD is back - and how!
The trending page - which is cleaning up nicely - has shown quite a few announcements by our @acidyo and @anomadsoul about @ocd's and @ocdb's future. Last but not least is the announcement about adding a Venezuelan Curation Branch to OCD's already extensive presence on Steem - with for now @yonnathang as the sole curator and highlighter of amazing Venezuelan content.
I'm excited!
Curation is becoming more and more important after HF21/2 - and OCD will forever do their part nicely. OCD focuses on newer Steem users: we don't curate content based on if it's perfect or an all time best, but we curate content from users that are still both new but also already 'proving themselves' by creating consistently and without collecting a lot of eyes and rewards for their work.
So by all means: if you like the idea by which @ocd curates, follow the account and upvote some of the posts shared in the Daily Compilation Posts!
Curating is sooo NewSteem
My selection of posts from last week:
The UK is known for loads of amazing nature, but I had never heard of a 'Mere' before. It's supposed to mean 'permanently under water' which seems like a fitting description. A post full of sights and buildings surrounding the Broads and little adventures of navigating sailing boats on narrow sections of water - all in all a well-spend day for user @stav!

Sometimes it's good if Steem is down! User @monsterjamgold suddenly had time for a very interesting project: refurbishing a jewellers anvil - now when is the last time you did that? Great post that describes all the steps needed to come to the end-result - seems like time well spent!

@martaesperanza is known for her photography work in which she portrays women, mostly in a dark and edgy way. Now she graduated from University - making a 'Bloom of Sorrow' book as her end project. I can't wait to see the dark portraits of women which according to her are inspired by nature on Steem! Congratulations on your graduation and book Marta!

Gauja River Valley in Latvia is a remnant from the Ice Age - glacial melting waters shaped this valley and its river many years ago. As @greddyforce describes his journey by car (yesterdays post was about beautiful caves) we get to see the pictures full of hills and trees and little Baltic Castles.

On the US/Canada border lies the Thousand Islands Region - with actually almost double that amount of islands it's a region where you can spend a lot of time enjoying gorgeous surroundings. @oheyo was smart and did just that: and with a lot of gorgeous photos as a result! Can I have a glass of that Ice Wine please?
