OCD Curation: the best posts and authors of last week | Motanka dolls, Campfire Stories and Chinese graveyards!

I wasn't able to curate each day last week, but the three posts I found made up for that! The authors knew to surprise me by showing me very specific things, like how to make Motanka Dolls (and what to do with them), Campfire Stories of grandparents with different impact on the life of the author, and the different builds of Chinese graveyards, with an extensive amount of pictures in the post.

Like every week I hope to get some of my followers to follow these often lesser known Steemians - maybe share an upvote or two in the process!

The new week has started again, so let's hope I can top last week with more and better posts than the weeks before!

Cheers and don't forget to follow @ocd for more curated content!

My selection of posts from last week:

Motanka dolls might be my new favourite thing! They are made with strips and leftover fabric, no thread is used, and once you started creating it you can't go back. Afterwards you tell the doll what you need from her, and if that wish or need becomes fulfilled the doll gets buried. Lots of pictures that show the process, but (of course) @katiefreespirit doesn't tell us her wish

@luvlylady shares three stories that were told to her by her grandparents. They are very inspiring and they helped @luvlylady shift her mindset, get inspired or just laugh. Most of the stories from her grandparents were shared by a campfire in their backyard... Keep that setting in mind while reading this post and its stories.

In the Western World there's pretty much one image of a graveyard, with a certain size of tombstones and engraved names and dates. Which is why this post blew my mind! Have you ever seen a Chinese farmers graveyard? If not this post is for you. @bossel goes through dozens of images in a very nicely crafted post, and shares with us all the different styles of the graves, finishings, maybe for wealthier or poorer people... A fascinating post!
