Another week at @ocd and what a week it was! With a bunch of new curators competition is getting stronger, more posts get selected per day but still only 10 will make it to the compilation post. In the end that's a really good thing, since the 10 selected posts will be of higher quality as the 'okay' ones simply won't make the cut anymore.
On one day I couldn't find any post to curate at all, since the 'new' section felt empty or of low quality, and the worthy posts were already nominated. A second day I found and nominated an amazing post only to find out later it was plagiarized :-( So I lost my chance to have an amazing post in the compilation post that day, but I was happy someone spotted it as it's not a good thing to support/reward plagiarism of any kind.
Anyway, still found 3 posts this week, which I hope you'll check out! Follow @ocd for a daily selection of good posts by new(er) Steemians so you don't have to dig the 'new' section yourself. Have a great Sunday!
Curated posts from 6-11th of May
Steemian @marieeedraws made a drawing from Justin Bieber - and described the process for us! She used different pencils, mapping out the face, filling the countours out later and making the drawing POP with some fierce yellow at the end. Is it just me or does Bieber look like Ned in the last image of this post?

@mafufuma started to do lightpaint photography with her kids! The post includes a first result of her 5 year old kid, and I must say it's already pretty impressive. Can't imagine what will happen with some more practice! She's using special software with which you can plan the outcome of the lightpainting, which will definitely make this exciting process a bit easier.

Steemian @nonsowrites shares a day if his life, simply walking through the city he's in now, reminiscing some past nostalgic experiences, in the meanwhile taking pictures of himself. The end result is a lovely post with some pretty cool portraits of a young Steemian. The one in front of a mud house is the only one in full-colour, check out the post for some lovely Black & White shots as well.
