I know this landscape by heart. Dunes, dune grass, behind the dunes the harbor and some industry, recently fluffed up with white and slim modern wind-mills.
A remark was made "The industry certainly looks more 'green' with the addition of these windmills". I wondered whether this was part of the decision-making process. Only a few years ago brand new 'modern coal-fired power stations with high efficiency' were build here. Modern is supposed to mean 'clean'. But coal is never really clean.
Maybe the wind-mills are supposed to cancel out the dirty image a bit.
I mind, on a certain level. On another level, I just love this landscape and the subtle changes I see within it. As if I have been growing up with the landscape and its skyline.
