Two people are spending time at the end of a road, overlooking the North Sea, covered by gorgeous clouds, almost at the same hours as my picture yesterday.
They seem to have claimed their personal piece of land on the globe, separated from all the other people who are spending time on the beach.
I wonder how they found the spot. If they're regulars here, or just went exploring, are travelling, are Dutch, or from the other side of the world.
As for me: I live close by this beach, but rarely visit it. I did today. So I'm a new visitor, but can compare with all the other beaches close I do know. Were I visiting from the other side of the world I would have been surprised by all the windmills around, and would not have known how the piece of land the two people in the picture spend time on is created land.
Yes, created land.
They are spending time on what used to be the ocean. The piece of land they now feel safe on used to be water only two years ago.
Do they know or don't they?
