Let's jump in!

Recently I got invited to the Ladies of Hive Discord community, and of course, as I'm a Lady, I accepted the offer (thanks @dfinney!).

It appears to be an initiative of @silversaver888, who is a proud Silver Stacking Lady and who has always attempted, from what I have seen, to uplift Ladies, starting with a hashtag on Steem/Hive that invited Lady Silver Stackers to write their posts under.

Now it seems time to go broader, and invite all Ladies of Hive to connect and interact more with each other. She quickly got @thekittygirl with her to make this initiative happen, and what I know about @thekittygirl is all good: a dedicated, loyal, wise Lady who can get a community together!

Seems like a recipe for success :-)

What is Ladies of Hive exactly?

I'm not the creator of this community, but from what I've know so far, it's mostly a place for Ladies to get together and uplift and support each other. It reminds me of @ladiesofsteemit and @steemsugars, both based on the same idea. As we all know, Blockchain in general attracts more men than women, thanks to its connections with tech and finance. Although there's no stats available about how many people on Hive are men/women, it does appear there's more women on Hive than probably in many other blockchain projects - which is something we should celebrate, indeed!

If you're a lady, send me a message (probably a friend request first) on Discord (soyrosa#1544) and I will share the invite for the server with you all. The goal should be to get as many Ladies of Hive in there, and see where we can grow from there.

PS: More fun posts coming. I made some big decisions for the next 1-2 years! Can't wait to share, but very busy with everything that comes with those decisions :-)
