I had an appointment with a doctor in the hospital today. The alarm went off early. I got out of bed, took a quick shower, but forgot how quick time passes before 11 AM, so it wasn't as quick as I thought but I made it in time to the tram that would bring me to the train station. I thought about buying a huge cup of coffee at Starbucks but then I remembered how much I hate Starbucks and decided to fulfill my need for coffee at a company or shop that deserves my money.
My first picture of the day - I took it when I sat in the train waiting for it to take off. Since my city is the starting point for this train it was already 'waiting' for passengers, so it was easy to find a spot and relax before it would go. I remember seeing the complexity of all the lines and colours crossing over one another. Crazy patters. Morning madness.
The other window, more patterns.
The route to Woerden is beautiful on some parts. The Netherlands is basically a 'city state' but some nature remains. Large green fields. And well, if you still don't know by now how much I love these kind of train window shots you're probably a first-time reader.
I arrived at Woerden and since my feet were a huge bother today I took the elevator down to street level. From this point on I realized I probably was going to show you guys some shots of today. Who else can take an elevator from the train station with a similar view?
Fields of bicycles...
Fields and trains
I arrived at the hospital and had to go through the maze of signs and reception desks with letters from A to Z, depending on if I wanted to see the doctor, had to go for the scan of my hands (possible arthrosis?), or the blood tests (to rule out reuma). I hate hospitals, who doesn't, they keep this one very clean with only some bird pictures on the wall for the sake of 'patient experience'.
I didn't take many pictures of my little walk through Woerden, but I got a very good cup of coffee which I didn't expect to get in this townish city, and took the train back to Rotterdam so I could go to a meeting with fellow artists.
So many lines in a picture should be converted to B&W, no?
I thought she was terribly pretty and just needed a picture of her framing the frame of the outsides.
A girl needs to hydrate!
Back in my city, another public transport thingy, the subway this time. Obsessed with how people walk and the 'passing of moments' I took this unsharp picture. I used to take dozens of pictures in this stile a few years back. Should get them on here for you guys to enjoy eh.
My last drive on another public transport thingy, the bus.
Oh, wait, not yet, another subway ride.
And then I was home. Where my boyfriend was fixing us dinner. Where I collapsed because the day started too early, my feet hurt too much, all the while walking way more steps than I do on average, with a cold that made me sneeze and shiver, and taking a total of 7 subway vehicles.
In two weeks I'll have the results of my visit to the hospital. To be continued.
Return from I went to the hospital. I sneezed. I took pictures. I share them with you. (Is this a ULog?) to Rosanne's Web3 Blog
