It was a misty day in 2011. I used to walk from my student home towards the river, crossing a bridge, walking more amongst the river, crossing a second bridge, returning home.
About 4,5 to 5 kilometers, which is just a nice enough walk to feel you have been moving a good bit for that day.
I've always loved that walk even though it was the same over and over again. I love the river that flows through my city, I love the bridges, and I love how light reflects on water and changes the scenery over and over again, creating silhouettes, or shadows, or amazing backlight.
This misty day I didn't recognize the sights from that walk. Only once reaching an object closely it would be recognizable, other than that: white white mist.
Mist adds an amazing layer of mysteriousness to any place you visit, even something as unmysterious as a city that you know so well.
