The Steem Silver Gold Community (@ssg-community) has been present on Steem for years and years - nerding about Silver (what's todays spot price, which special coins do I have in my collection) and sending each other coins while holding Steem Silver Raffles.
One amazing thing they have done for the third year in a row: make a Silver coin with a Steem design made by one of their community members!
Wait, whut? Yes, really, there are thousands of Silver coins being stored around the world that have 'STEEM' on it. The first Silver ROUND was made by @bearone (this one is really hard to come by I've been told), and the second one was created by @welshstacker.
This year they created a competition where members could share their designs for the Steem ROUND of 2019, which in the end was won by @edxserverus!
I can only imagine how much of an honour it must be to see your design for the STEEM Round come to live...

I guess you already know where this is going... These Steem ROUNDS can be won! Yes, really! There are 10 Steem ROUNDS going to be send all over the world free of charge to 10 lucky winners! In order to hod one of these silver STEEM Rounds in your hands you have to WRITE A POST of 500 words or more about one Steemian that is special to you. - The nomination period will close in seven days at post payout.
- Nominations failing to meet the requirements will be disqualified.
- Five winning entries will be selected by the panel of judges (@soyrosa, @newageinv and @dfinney) with entrant and nominee each receiving one Steem Round mailed world wide free of charge.
- Entrants and nominees agree to share their postal details with @raybrockman to facilitate delivery of the rounds.
- Winners will be announced within 48 hours of post close.
